Another of Mark's family recipes. I have never made it because I never liked the flavor of prunes...but he swears it is amazingly good! I will take his word for it...LOL He says this makes an excellent winter soup.

Ingredients For zupa z suszonych sliwek (prune soup)

1/2 lbpitted prunes

2 cwater

1/2 lbrhubarb, cut up

2 cboiling water

1/2 tspcinnamon

1/4 tspground cloves

2/3 cbrown sugar

1 1/2 Tbspflour

1/2 ccold water
-
3/4 csour cream

How To Make zupa z suszonych sliwek (prune soup)

1Soak prunes in 2 cups of water overnight. Cook in the same water for 30 min. Cook rhubarb in 2 c boiling water for 10 min. Combine. Run through a sieve or puree with a blender. Add cinnamon, cloves, sugar and flour mixed with 1/4 c cold water. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Cool slightly, add sour cream. Serve after the main course.
