Mark's Polish family recipes, he says this one is an old Christmas-time favorite served between courses. To me, this sounds like an almond flavor of rice pudding. So YUM.

    whole milk
  • 1/2 lb
    almonds, peeled, ground twice
  • 1 tsp
    almond extract
  • 2 1/2 c
    cooked rice
  • 1/4 c

    small seedless raisins
