Ingredients For tumeric detox soup

  • 1 Tbsp
    ghee or olive oil
  • 1 md
    onion, diced
  • 1 Tbsp
    grated fresh ginger
  • 4 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    grated fresh turmeric or 2 tsp powder
  • 1 tsp
    cumin
  • 1 tsp
    coriander
  • 4 c
    water
  • 4 c
    vegetable or chicken stock
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 4 oz
    cooked rice noodles
  • 3
    scallions, chopped
  • 1
    lime

How To Make tumeric detox soup

  • 1
    Heat the ghee or olive oil to a saute pan. Add the onion and cook about 5 minutes. Add the ginger, garlic, and fresh turmeric and cook another minute. Add the cumin and coriander and stir.

    Add the water and stock and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, taste and add salt. Stir in the noodles and cook about 3 minutes.

    Serve in bowls topped with scallions and a squeeze of lime.
