Slow Cooker Crock Pot
Ingredients For scrap stock

onion skins
-
celery
-
carrots
-
garlic
-
parsley
-
bay leaves
-
red pepper scraps
-
broccoli stems
-
misc. spices of choice
-
misc. veggie scraps of choice

2 quarts water
-
2 tbsp salt (preferably kosher)
How To Make scrap stock

1Keep all scraps and discarded waste from food prep in a resealable bag in your freezer.

2When full, add contents to slow cooker and add water, spices of choice, and salt
-
3Cook HIGH for 1 hour and LOW for 3 hours. Strain and store in fridge for later cooking. Lasts up to 2 weeks.
