This is a great Autumn/Winter soup. I love warm garlic bread with this.

Ingredients For sausage stew
-
2-3 pkgturkey kelbalsa, smoked or regular sliced about 1/2" thick
-
to tastegarlic cloves or jarred - chopped
-
2-3celery stalks - thick sliced
-
1-2 boxlow - no sodium, fat free chicken broth
-
1 canlarge can, italian tomatoes with juice
-
1 -2carrots, thick sliced with skin
-
1-2potatoes - thick chunks with skin
-
1/4 -1/2red onion - chunks
-
1-2 cupssliced cabbage
-
1/2 tspred pepper flakes
-
other seasonings to taste
-
water if needed
How To Make sausage stew

1Saute kelbalsa, garlic, celery and red onion in light olive oil until lightly browned in large pot or dutch oven. Add chicken broth, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots and spices and water if needed. Cover and cook on low for 45 min to 1 hr or when veggies are slightly tender. Turn off heat, add cabbage, cover again and let set until cabbage is slightly tender.
