My Mom and MIL love split pea soup and every time my mom bakes a ham she sends the bone home with me so I will make split pea soup and send the soup back home with them.

1 cbaby carrots

1 cwhite onion, diced

2 cgreen split peas, washed

1/8 tspmarjoram

8chicken bouillon cubes

How To Make pea soup

1Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cover. Cook on low 8-10 hours or overnight. Or on high 6 hours, until peas are tender. Remove bay leaf and ham bone and serve or freeze in individual freezer containers.
