Ingredients For italian meatball soup (crock pot)

  • 5 c
    chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp
    tomato paste
  • 2 clove
    garlic,minced
  • 1/2 tsp
    red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 c
    uncooked mini pasta shells
  • 1/2 bag
    fresh spinach leaves
  • 1/4 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  • for the meatballs:
  • 1 lb
    italian sausage,casings removed
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1/2 c
    dried bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried basil
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic salt and black pepper

How To Make italian meatball soup (crock pot)

    Combine broth,tomato paste,garlic and red pepper flakes in crock pot.

    Combine all meatball ingredients and form into small balls.Add meatballs to soup mixture.Cover and cook on high 3 hours.

    Add pasta,and cook 30 minutes more.Add spinach just before serving.Ladle into bowls,sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
