Ingredients For herbed tomato soup

  • 28 oz
    can crushed tomatoes
  • 4 c
    tomato juice
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 2 Tbsp
    each chopped fresh basil, and thyme
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped fresh taragon
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make herbed tomato soup

  • 1
    Mix the tomatoes, tomato juice and butter together in a large pot. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer. Cook 15 minutes. Stir in the herbs. Taste and season with salt and pepper.
