Ingredients For ham skillet gumbo

2 cham, cooked and diced

1/4 tsppepper

1 tspsalt

1 cwater

1 canchicken broth

15 oztomatoes, canned

10 ozokra, cut up

1 conion, chopped

1 cgreen bell pepper, chopped

1 crice, uncooked
How To Make ham skillet gumbo

1Combine all ingredients except rice in a large, heavy skillet; bring to a boil.

2Cover and simmer 10 minutes.

3Stir in rice and simmer, covered, 20 minutes longer, or until rice is tender.

4NOTE: May substitute cayenne pepper for black pepper.
