1 lbbacon, cooked and crumbled

1/4 tspnutmeg

1/2 tspcaraway seeds

1 tspsalt

2 tspblack pepper

1bay leaf

1 lbpotatoes, washed, diced

4 cbeef broth
-
1/4 cchopped parsley
-
1 cchopped cabbage

2carrots, peeled and diced

1leek, trimmed, chopped

1onion, chopped

1/2 csour cream
How To Make german potato soup

1Combine onion, leek, carrots, cabbage, parsley, broth, and potatoes to crockpot.

2Stir in seasonings.

3Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours or high 4 to 5 hours.

4Remove bay leaf.

5Using a slotted spoon remove potatoes and mash.

6Combine potatoes with sour cream.

7Return to crockpot and stir.

8Stir in bacon pieces and serve.
