Ingredients For egg drop soup

  • 2 c
    chicken stock
  • 1/2 tsp
    each soy sauce and sesame oil
  • 1
    drop of yellow food coloring
  • 2 tsp
    cornstarch mixed with 4 tsp water
  • 1 lg
    egg beaten
  • green onions and white pepper for serving

How To Make egg drop soup

  • 1
    Place the chicken stock in a saucepan. Add the soy sauce, sesame oil and yellow food coloring and bring to a boil. Whisk in the cornstarch and water mixture and boil until thickened. Slowly drizzle in the egg whisking gently. Serve garnished with green onions and white pepper
