Ingredients For dill pickle soup

  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1/3 c
    flour
  • 4 c
    chicken stock
  • 1 c
    finely diced pickles
  • 2 Tbsp
    pickle juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    each sugar, worcestershire sauce and onion powder
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 tsp
    each dill weed, and curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    white pepper
  • 1 c
    heavy cream warmed

How To Make dill pickle soup

    Add the butter to a stock pot. Stir in the flour and make a roux. Whisk in the chicken stock and bring to a boil. Cook until thickened a bit. Add the pickles, pickle juice, sugar, Worcesterdhire souce, garlic, onion powder, dill weed, curry powder, and white pepper

    Simmer on low heat for 5 minutes. Stir in the heavy cream and serve.
