I enjoy playing with different ingredients in every recipe I make. This time it was soup. Loving chicken soup all my life and making it the same basic way all the time decided to add some fruit flavors that I had available. Every ingredient blended so well together and everyone loved it! I didn't add noodles however, you can add if you like. It's so sweet & the most tasty soup I've made so far. Hope you enjoy it as much as we all did!

Ingredients For chicken fruit & veggie soup!

1 lg.chicken breasts, whole

3 cbaby carrots
-
3-4baby potatoes
-
2 stalkcelery
-
2 mdonions
-
1 mdapple
-
1 mdred pear
-
1-1/2 qtvegetable & chicken stock
-
2bay leaves
-
1/2 canpeas, canned
How To Make chicken fruit & veggie soup!

1peel skin from chicken & discard. Leave bones in

2Heat about 1-1/2 qts. water till boiling, place chicken in the pot, cover & reduce to low/warm Add Stock(s). I used whatever was in the fridge which was chicken stock & then added vegetable stock enough to cover 5"

3Cut carrots lengthwise and slice into different shapes (halves/spears/rounds, etc.) Do the same with pear & apple Cut onion & slice into sm/med pieces

4Turn stove on high, add fruits & veggies & at the end of cooking time add the peas
