I love soup! I eat it everyday. I love anything Italian, so this combination is perfect. I top my bowl off with a little Parmesan cheese along with a little cayenne pepper, since I like a little kick. Plain is just as good. This really is easy, quick and tasty. Just the way I like it. 1In a large saucepan, crumble and cook sausage and onions over medium heat until sausage is brown. Drain sausage, if desired. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until pasta is cooked.
