Ingredients For cabbage sausage and potato soup

1 lbkielbasa sausage cut into pieces

2 Tbspolive oil

3 mdleeks peeled and diced and soaked to make sure all grit is out

2 mdcarrots sliced

1 smhead green cabbage cut into bite size pieces

6 clovegarlic minced

1 cbutton mushrooms cut in half

8 cchicken stock
-
1 lbred potatoes cut into bite size pieces

1 tspeach dried basil oregano and parsley

1bay leaf

salt to taste
How To Make cabbage sausage and potato soup

1Add Kielbasa to a large pot. Cook until browned remove and set aside. Add olive oil to pan. Stir in leeks, and carrots. Let cook for 5 minutes. Add the cabbage and mushrooms and cook 5 more minutes. Add the garlic, stir then pour in the chicken stock.

2Bring to a boil. Add the potatoes, seasonings and bay leaf. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Taste and adjust for salt.
