Ingredients For bloody mary soup

2 tbsp. butter

2 medium onion, diced

3 celery stalks, diced

2 tbsp. tomato puree

1 tbsp. sugar

5 cups v-8 juice, or you may substitute tomato juice

1 tbsp (3 tsp) salt, optional

2 tsp. worcestershire sauce

1/4 tsp. pepper
-
1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice

4 oz. vodka
How To Make bloody mary soup

1Melt butter in large pan. Sauté onion and celery in butter over medium heat. Add tomato puree and sugar. Cook for 1 minute. Add V-8 juice and simmer for 8 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients. Strain. Serve hot or well chilled. Serves 6
