Ingredients For bloody mary soup

  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 2 medium onion, diced
  • 3 celery stalks, diced
  • 2 tbsp. tomato puree
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 5 cups v-8 juice, or you may substitute tomato juice
  • 1 tbsp (3 tsp) salt, optional
  • 2 tsp. worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 4 oz. vodka

How To Make bloody mary soup

  • 1
    Melt butter in large pan. Sauté onion and celery in butter over medium heat. Add tomato puree and sugar. Cook for 1 minute. Add V-8 juice and simmer for 8 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients. Strain. Serve hot or well chilled. Serves 6
