This is my in a hurry need dinner fast recipe. it's all things that are staples in my pantry. The next time it's 5 minutes until you need dinner on the table give it a try, it's faster than take-out! Don't let the list of ingredients scare you off, it's mostly spices you have on hand.

Ingredients For 5 minute tortilla soup

1 canrotel tomatoes, mild or original

1 cancorn kernels, drained

1 cannavy beans, drained
-
4 cchicken broth, low salt
-
1 dasheach of onion salt, garlic salt, and pepper

1/4 tspground cumin
-
1/2 tsporegano, dried
-
1/2 tspchili powder (hot or mild, your choice)

tortilla chips
-
shredded cheddar cheese or mexican blend
-
optionaldiced avocado
-
optionaldiced chicken, left over or from the deli, i often do it without the chicken
How To Make 5 minute tortilla soup

1Place the tomatoes, corn, beans and broth in a pan. Add the spices. Bring to a boil and cook for a couple of minutes.

2If you are using cooked chicken add it now and bring back to a boil.

3Place some crushed tortilla chips, shredded cheese and avocados (if using them)in the bottom of each bowl.

4Ladle hot soup into the bowls and enjoy!
