We love crabs here in Southern Maryland! One of our favorite ways to serve crab is in Cream of Crab Soup. Whenever we have crabs, we try to have some leftovers so we can make this savory soup.

Ingredients For cream of crab soup

1/4 conion, finely diced

1/4 ccelery, finely diced

1 Tbspbutter
-
1 cheavy cream
-
1 cmilk
-
1 Tbspcorn starch
-
pincheach salt, pepper, garlic powder, old bay crab seasoning

1 tspchicken boullion granules
-
1 ccrab meat
-
parsley, fresh
-
old bay crab seasoning
How To Make cream of crab soup
-
1Saute onions and celery in butter until soft
-
2Mix corn starch into milk and add milk mixture and cream to vegetables
-
3Stir in seasonings and boullion
-
4Bring to a low simmer, simmer, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes
-
5Add crab meat and heat only until hot
-
6Serve immediately in warm bowls and top with parsley and more Old Bay Crab Seasoning.
