After my squash is cooked & drained I run it thru my food processor because i don't like large, stringy pieces of squash. Don't get me wrong, I love squash, but slurping a stringy piece of squash isn't ladylike. :)

Ingredients For the best squash casserole

2 csquash, cooked, drained & mashed;

2 ccracker crumbs, or bread crumbs

2 cx-sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1 mdonion, diced
-
1 cancream of mushroom soup, undiluted; or any cream soup of your choice

1/4 cmargarine or butter
How To Make the best squash casserole

1Mix all ingredients. Pour into buttered casserole.

2Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown & bubbly
