Ingredients For potato soup

  • 5 lb
    potatoes
  • 2 lg
    onions (chopped)
  • 3 stalk
    celery
  • 1 lb
    bacon(chopped)
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • salt and pepper( to taste)
  • 4 c
    milk

How To Make potato soup

    In frying pan cook bacon( don't make it well done or crispy)but cook it.Peel and cut up potatoes & put in pot and add water 1 inch higher then the potatoes, after boiling potatoes,

    add onions,celery,bacon,salt and pepper.cook on low heat for about 1/2 to 1 hour add milk butter.and cook for a 5 mins more enjoy!!

    if you want to you can add cheese or heavy cream.
