6 cfresh or frozen broccoli florets

1 cshredded carrots

1 lgonion, chopped

1/2 tspsalt

1/4 tsppepper

1/2 tspgarlic powder

1/4 tsponion powder
-
3 cchicken broth
-
1/4 ccornstarch
-
1 cchicken broth
-
1 cheavy cream
-
16 ozvelveeta cheese
How To Make panera broccoli soup with a twist

1Place the first 8 ingredients into crock pot or slow cooker.

2In a small bowl, add 1 cup chicken broth to 1/4 cup cornstarch and mix until smooth.

3Add cornstarch mixture to ingredients in slow cooker and mix well.

4Set slow cooker to HIGH setting and cover.

5Cook for 4 hours.

6To mixture in slow cooker, add 1 cup heavy cream and 16 oz. Velveeta cheese, cut into cubes. Stir well

7Cover slow cooker and continue cooking on HIGH for 20 more minutes, or until cheese is completely melted.

8Ladle into soup bowls and serve.
