Ingredients For mushroom soup

  • 1 1/2 lb
    mushrooms, fresh
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2 c
    chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt & pepper
  • 1 lg
    white onion
  • 6
    garlic pegs, smashed & chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    mccormick garlic & herb no salt seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp
    poultry seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp
    onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 c
    heavy cream

How To Make mushroom soup

    Clean mushrooms and slice. chop onions. smash & chop garlic.

    Melt butter in large stock pot over medium heat Add onions cook 10 minutes . Add mushrooms, cook 10 minutes.

    Add flour, cook, stirring for 2 minutes.

    Add chicken broth and all spices, stirring until smooth and thickened about 5 minutes. Add garlic, stir well Lower heat!

    REMOVE FROM HEAT ! Stir in cream.
