Ingredients For loaded potatoes soup

  • 1/2 pound
    bacon chopped
  • 3
    celery stalks chopped
  • 1
    onion chopped
  • 1
    tbs minced garlic
  • 8- 10
    potatoes peeled and chopped
  • I 1/2 cup
    canned or frozen corn
  • 8 cups
    chicken broth or substitute chicken bouillon
  • 1/2 cup
    butter
  • 1/2 cup
    flour
  • 1 cup
    heavy cream
  • 1 Tbs
    basil
  • 1 Tbs
    oregano
  • 1 Tbs
    cilantro
  • 1 Tsp
    chili season
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt and pepper

How To Make loaded potatoes soup

    In large cooking pot add chopped bacon ,celery and onions cook till bacon is tender not crispy .

    Add chopped potatoes to cooking pot cook for about 5 minutes stirring with bacon grease.

    Add corn and 8 cups of chicken broth . Simmer for now .

    In another pot melt butter add heavy cream , flour and all spices whisk on medium heat till it turn into paste . Add paste to soup stirring it in turn up heat till it boils and soup is thick . Simmer for 5 minutes it’s ready .
