My family absolutely loves when I make this for dinner. It's so easy to make and sooo good. Nothing like homemade soup on a cold day. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family does. I double this recipe to feed my crew.

Ingredients For homemade cream of mushroom soup

8 ozfresh mushrooms sliced

2 Tbsponions, chopped

2 clovegarlic minced

2 Tbspbutter

3 Tbspflour, seperated

2 cchicken broth
-
1 chalf and half cream
-
1/2 tspsalt

1/2 tsppepper

1/4 tspnutmeg

1 tspthyme
How To Make homemade cream of mushroom soup

1Melt butter in large pot. Add in onions, garlic, and mushrooms. Cook until onions are soft. Add salt, pepper, nutmeg and thyme.

2Blend in 2 T. flour and stir.Add in the chicken broth and heat until slightly thickened while stirring frequently.

3Stir cream with additional 1 T. flour and add to soup. Heat to thicken while stirring frequently. Serve and enjoy!
