We've decided to do the green bean casserole this year. So I figured this variation out.

Ingredients For gigi's green bean casserole

2 candel monte green beans, any style
-
1 cancampbells cream of mushroom, or cream of celery

1/4 csour cream

1 mdchopped onion
-
2 Tbspchopped pimento
-
scantamount of salt

1/2 tspblack pepper
-
1 canfrench fried onions

1/2 cbacon bits (real bacon) or several slices crisped and crushed
How To Make gigi's green bean casserole

1Preheat oven to 350 f Saute the chopped onions in a small amount of butter, margarine, or oil until translucent. Stir into the canned soup. (You could use half cream of mushroom and cream of celery) add the pimento,sour cream, salt, & pepper mixing well. Pour into a vegetable sprayed casserole pan top with the crunchy bacon and fried onions then sprinkle a bit of black pepper on top.

2Bake at 350 degrees f, for 50 min
