6 lgpotatoes

1 lgonion
-
1 - 3 clovefresh garlic

1 - 2 ptsweet cream
-
3 Tbspbutter or margerine

1/8 cfresh chives
-
1 pkgcream cheese, softened

1/2 pkghidden valley ranch dressing mix, dry

water to cover
-
1 pinchsalt, pepper (opt)
- ADDITIONAL OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS

1 csweet corn
-
1/2 ccarrots, grated

1 csnow peas
-
1 cbaby portebello mushrooms, chopped or sliced
How To Make creamy delight potato soup

1wash, peel and dice potatoes, place in lg. pot. add just enough water to cook potatoes, not quite enought to cover is better, but no more then just enough to cover.

2bring to a boil, and simmer for 5 min. add diced onion. simmer until potatos are almost done

3add remaining ingredients, except chives,and seasonings, simmer another 5 to 10 min. serve hot and garnish with chives. add salt and pepper to taste

4If adding any of the optional veggies, add to pot with the potatos at the start EXCEPT the mushrooms, which can be added with the onions.
