Ingredients For chicken and corn chowder

  • 2 1/2 c
    diced cooked chicken
  • 16 oz
    cream-style corn
  • 16 oz
    cut corn
  • 1 c
    diced onions
  • 2 c
    diced potatoes
  • 2 c
    chicken broth
  • 2 c
    1/2 and 1/2 cream
  • white pepper to taste
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter
  • roux to thicken the soup
  • 3 Tbsp
    chicken base or to taste

How To Make chicken and corn chowder

    In a stock pot, Saute the chicken. Add the potatoes & onions in water boil until tender. Add all the remaining ingredients to the stock pot, (except) half and half & roux. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer, now add cream or milk temper the milk in the stock, and Roux to get the texture you like. Simmer another 15 minutes.
