Ingredients For carrot bisque

5 slicebacon, chopped

"just a pinch" of salt

1 cheavy cream
-
1 cwater
-
4 cchicken broth
-
1bay leaf
-
2sprigs fresh thyme
-
3celery ribs, chopped
-
1 cmushrooms, chopped
-
6green onions, chopped
-
1 lbcarrots, peeled and chopped
-
"just a pinch" of pepper
How To Make carrot bisque

1In a stock pot over medium-high heat, saute bacon until crisp.

2Add carrots, green onions, mushrooms, and celery; Cook, uncovered, for 5 minutes.

3Add thyme, bay leaf, chicken broth, and water, bring to a boil; Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 50 minutes.

4Remove bay leaf; Place soup in a food processor and process until smooth.

5Return mixture to pot over low heat; Add cream and salt and pepper to taste.

6Heat until warm.
