Ingredients For buttermilk soup

3 or 4 lgpotatoes

1 mdonion

water to cover
-
salt and pepper

1 qtbuttermilk
-
1 pthalf and half

2eggs
How To Make buttermilk soup

1Peel, dice, and cook potatoes and onion in lightly salted water until done.

2Mash the potatoes slightly in the water they were cooked in.

3Beat two eggs. Add a little cream. Mix. Add buttermilk and the rest of the cream and add to potato mixture.

4Add salt and pepper to taste. Heat but (DO NOT BOIL)
