This is so easy and I almost always have the ingredients in the freezer and pantry. A great dish for a busy cold winter meal. I serve with garlic cheesy bread.

Ingredients For beer,broccoli & cheese soup

  • 2 can
    condensed cheese soup, undiluted
  • 16 oz
    frozen broccoli, thawed
  • 2 c
    o'brien hashbrown potatoes, thawed
  • 1 c
    beer
  • 2 c
    half & half
  • 5 slice
    processed american cheese
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    johnny's seasoning salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground red pepper, (optional)
  • salt and pepper, to tase

How To Make beer,broccoli & cheese soup

    In a large saucepan, combine everything but the half & half, beer and cheese slices. Bring to a boil. reduce heat add beer, half & half and cheese slices. simmer until cheese melts and soup is warm. DO NOT BOIL.
