I am always looking for new (good) potato soup recipes. I have some trouble finding ones that have a good flavor and texture. The flour mixture really makes this recipe work

Ingredients For best ever potato soup

6bacon strips, diced

1 can(14 1/2 oz.) chicken broth

3 ccubed peeled potatoes

1 smcarrot, grated

1/2 cchopped onion

1 Tbspdried parsley flakes

1/2 tspcelery seed

1/2 tspsalt

1/2 tsppepper
-
3 Tbspall purpose flour

3 cmilk
-
8 ozprocess american cheese, cubed

2onions, thinly sliced
How To Make best ever potato soup

1In a large saucepan, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Using a slotted spoon remove to paper towels; drain.

2Add the broth, vegetables and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes, or until potatoes are tender

3Combine flour and milk until smooth; add to soup. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes.

4Add cheese; stir until cheese is melted and the soup is heated through.

5Garnish with green onion if desired
