Ingredients For baked potato soup

  • 2/3 c
    butter
  • 2/3 c
    flour
  • 7 c
    milk
  • 4 lg
    baked potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 4
    green onions, thinly sliced.
  • 12 slice
    bacon, fried crispy and crumbled
  • 1 1/2 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz
    sour cream
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper

How To Make baked potato soup

  • 1
    In large pot, over medium heat, melt butter.
  • 2
    Stir in flour and whisk until mixed well.
  • 3
    Slowly add milk and continue whisking until thickens.
  • 4
    Add potatoes and onions. Simmer for 10 minutes
  • 5
    Add remaining ingredients and stir continuously until the cheese melts.
