this is my creation It won first in food group and third place over all in Noble county Cook OFF Held for Relay for Life

Ingredients For awesome potato soup

  • 8 lg
    potatoes clean and diced
  • 1
    stalk of celery diced
  • 1
    carrot diced
  • 1 Tbsp
    groun garlic
  • 1 bunch
    green onions diced
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1 1/2 qt
    chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp
    parsley flakes
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 qt
    half and half

How To Make awesome potato soup

    saute diced onions,celery,carrot,garlic in 1 stick butter
  • 2
    add diced potatoes,chicken broth salt and pepper cook till tender then add half and half and cheese,add parsley cook till heated

    if you want to kick it up a notch brown 1 lb. of sausage add to soup family favorite
