Ingredients For the best fish chowder

  • salt pork
  • 1 large onion
  • 4 bottles of clam juice
  • 2 cans of evaporated milk
  • 4 med potatoes diced
  • 2 lbs of cod

How To Make the best fish chowder

    In a large Pot saute salt pork until brown on all sides over low heat. Discard salt pork. Saute diced onions in salt pork juice until tender. Add clam juice and potatoes. Simmer until potatoes are tender. Add fish and evaporated milk cook until fish is cooked through about 10-15 min.
