Ingredients For santa fe tomato chowder

1 Tbspbutter

2 tspminced garlic

4 lgripe tolmatoes chopped

15 oztomato sauce

1 cfrozen corn kernals

1/4 cchopped fresh cilantro

1 Tbspcayenne pepper sauce

1/2 tspchili powder

1 cmonterey jack cheese
-
1 mdripe avocado peeled and chopped, optional

1 1/3 cfrench fried ,onions, optional
How To Make santa fe tomato chowder

1Melt butter in large saucepan;saute garlic for 1 minute. Add tomatoes and cook 5 minutes.Stir in 1 cup water, tomato sauce,corn,cilantro,hot sauce and chilli powder. Bring to a boil high heat. Reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes. Spoon soup into serving bowls; Sprinkle with cheese. Also with avocado and fried onions if desired.
