A great shrimp chowder from a friend, Phil. Phil is a super cook and shared this recipe with me after I had it at a gathering at his home. Enjoy!

Ingredients For phil's shrimp chowder

  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1 1/2
    cooked shrimp
  • 1 bunch
    green onions
  • 1/2 bottle
    chef paul's seafood magic
  • 4 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1/4 tsp
    cayanne pepper
  • 2 can
    cream potato soup
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can
    whole kernel corn, drained
  • 2 c
    half and half

How To Make phil's shrimp chowder

  • 1
    Place the butter in a large pot. Saute' the onions in the butter.

    Add the shrimp and the Chef Paul's Seafood Magic.

    cube the cream cheese into small cubes and place in the saute mixture. Stir to incorporate all the pot.

    Add the remaining ingredients and boil for 10 minutes. Add 2 CUPS OF 1/2 AND 1/2. Heat the pot but DO NOT BOIL at this point. I may add a little water on occasion, but not much. Can freeze for later Enjoy!
