This recipe was given to me by a friend I worked with. It is delicious ~ and just put it in the oven for an hour.

Ingredients For oven fish chowder

  • 2 lb
    cod or haddock fillets
  • 4
    potatoes, sliced
  • 1
    bay leaf
  • 2 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 4
    whole cloves
  • 2 c
    boiling water
  • 1 clove
    garlic, chopped
  • 3
    onions sliced
  • 1/2 c
    butter (or less)
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/2 c
    white wine
  • 2 c
    light cream

How To Make oven fish chowder

  • 1
    Put all ingredients in casserole, except cream. Cover and bake one hour at 375 degrees. HEAT CREAM AND ADD TO CASSEROLE ~ SERVE !
