Ingredients For frankfurter creole chowder

1 lbfrankfurters, cut in 1/2 inch pieces

1/4 tspbasil or tyme leaves crushed

2 Tbspbutter or maragine

1 can11 oz. condensed split pea with ham

1 can10 3/4 oz. condensed cream of potato soup

1/2 canwater

1 canabout 8 oz. canned tomatoes, cut up

1 canabout 8 oz. whole kernal corn, undrained

1in large saucepan brown frankfurters with basil in butter. add soups; gradually stir in water. add remaining ingredients heat through; stir ocasionaly.
