Ingredients For crockpot manhattan clam chowder

6strips of bacon cooked crispy and crumbled,and some of the bacon fat

1 cuncooked potatoes,chopped

1 c ccelery,chopped

1 conions.chopped

1 ccarrots,chopped

128 ounce can crushed tomatoes

1 1/2 canlarge size of v-8 juice

1 tspthyme, dried

1bay leaf
-
4 canminced or chopped clams,including juice

salt and pepper to taste

1Add all the ingreients to crockpot.Stir well.

2Cook on LOW 8 hours,until veggies are tender REMOVE BAY LEAF and enjoy!

3You can make it SPICY by using SPICY V-8 or adding Frank's Redhot Sauce ,if desired
