Ingredients For corn chowder

  • 1 c
    onion chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 2 c
    corn
  • 1 1/2 c
    pototoes cubed
  • 1 1/2 c
    water
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    thyme, dried
  • 2 c
    milk
  • 1 c
    half & half
  • 1/2 c
    celery chopped

How To Make corn chowder

  • 1
    Saute onion and celery in butter; stir in corn, potatoes,water, salt, pepper,and thyme. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.

    Add milk and half & half, cook another 5-10 minutes stirring constantly.

    Can top with bacon bits and cheese.
