This recipe was Mom's and I tweaked it a little bit..I alway's looked forward to moms fall chowder and stews. Yum!

Ingredients For corn chowder

1 smonion
-
1/4 ofred pepper or roasted red pepper

3 mdred or white potatoes

1/2 cbutter
-
2 Tbspolive oil, extra virgin

1 cancreamed corn

1 cfrozen corn

salt & pepper to taste
How To Make corn chowder

1Add butter & olive oil to 5qt sauce pan melt together over med low heat

2add onions & red pepper, if using instead of roasted red pepper, saute till tender.If using roasted red pepper add now.Add salt & pepper to taste.

3Add frozen corn & contnue to cook about 1&1/2 min.add creamed corn stir & add 4 cups of water. add potatoes cook on med. high till tender then add 2-3 cups of milk cook till heated through.
