Ingredients For corn chowder

  • 1 can
    corn, drained, chopped
  • 1/3 c
    salt pork, cut into cubes
  • 1 slice
    onion
  • 2 c
    boiling water
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    paprika
  • 3 c
    potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2 c
    hot milk
  • 1/2 tsp
    celery salt
  • 6
    crackers

How To Make corn chowder

  • 1
    Cook salt pork with onion slowly 10 minutes; add boiling water. Strain into kettle, add potatoes and seasonings 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

    Add corn to chowder; hot milk and crackers. Cook 5 minutes.
