Ingredients For cheesy ham chowder

10strips of bacon,diced

1 lgonion,chopped

1 cdiced carrots
-
3 Tbspflour
-
3 cmilk
-
1 1/2 cwater
-
2 1/2 ccubed potatoes

1 canwhole kernel corn,drained

2chicken bouillon cubes
-
pepper to taste

3 cshredded cheddar
-
2 cdiced fully cooked ham

pinchparsley
How To Make cheesy ham chowder

1In a dutch oven,cook baconover med. heat until crisp.Remove to paper towel,set aside.

2Saute onion and carrot in drippings until tender.Stir in flour until blended,gradually add milk and water.Cook and stir 2 min. or until thickened.

3Add potatoes,corn,bouillion and pepper.Reduce heat;simmer uncovered for 20 min. or until potatoes are tender.

4Add cheese and ham,heat until cheese is melted,add bacon.Sprinkle in parsley if desired
