Ingredients For cheesy clam chowder

6 slicebacon

1/2 cdiced carrots

1/2 cchopped celery

1/2 cchopped onion

1/4 cflour

1 Tbspcornstarch

1/2 tspsalt

1/4 tsppepper

1 lbminced clams with juice

4 cmilk

1 cpotatoes diced

1 lbshredded cheddar cheese
How To Make cheesy clam chowder

1Cook bacon in large pot until crisp. Remove and drain and crumble. Cook onion and celery in bacon fat until transparent.

2Stir in flour and cornstarch, salt and pepper. Add 3 1/2 cups clam juice and cook over medium heat until bubbly, add milk, clams, potatoes, carrots, celery, and onion, & bacon. Cook stirring occasionally until all vegetables are cooked through. Add cheddar cheese stirring to combine and serve.
