This quick and easy recipe has all the flavor of a chili that traditionaly simmers all day! My White Bean Chicken chili is a great alternative to the tomato and beef based chili.

Ingredients For white bean chicken chili

3 ccooked, cubed chicken

1 mdchopped white onion
-
1 can4.25 oz can chopped green chilies
-
4 cchicken broth
-
3 can15 oz canned great northern beans, drained and rinsed

1 Tbspdried oregano
-
1 Tbspcumin
-
1 Tbspred pepper flakes
-
1+ cheavy whipping cream
-
2 Tbspolive oil for saute
-
1-2 pinchsalt and pepper to taste
How To Make white bean chicken chili

1Prep: Finally chop 1 medium white onion and cut cooked chicken into bite size cubes (a prepared rotiseri chicken works great as well). Open, drain and rinse the canned beans.

2In a dutch oven or deep pot over medium-high add the olive oil and saute the onion, chilies, oregano, cumin and red pepper flakes 5 minutes until softened and incorporated. Reduce heat and add the broth, beans, cream and heavy whipping cream. Simmer for 20 minutes and serve hot with crusty bread.
