I love the winter time! You get to make all kinds of soup and stew... Here is the only recipe i will ever use and it great on those snowy winter days and on game days! It also goes great with some home made Cinnamon Rolls.

Ingredients For the only chili recipe you will ever need

  • 3 lb
    ground meat (i use deer)
  • 4 lb
    stew meat (again deer)
  • 4- 29oz can
    chili beans in chili sauce
  • 2- 29oz can
    diced tomatoes
  • 2- tall can
    vegetable juice
  • 2 pkg
    mccormick chili seasoning (hot or mild)
  • 1 lg
    onion
  • garlic powder to taste (i don't measure my spices)
  • salt and pepper
  • chili powder
  • cayenne pepper (if you like it mild skip this)
  • STIR INS
  • saltine crackers, crushed
  • cheddar cheese
  • sour cream
  • JUST A NOTE
  • you can cut this recipe down but this is perfect for parties and freezing

How To Make the only chili recipe you will ever need

    Brown ground meat with half the onion, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Drain grease if any and place in large stock pot.

    Brown stew meat with other half of onion and seasons. Drain drippings if any and add to pot.

    Add the rest of the ingredients with chili powder and cayenne pepper to taste. Bring to a boil then turn to simmer and cover. Stir about every 30 min. and if you can let cook for like 6 hours. I start this at 10am and we eat around 5 or 6. In the mean time make some cinnamon rolls!!
