This is a good cold weather soup. It does freeze well and it is easy to double or triple the recipe. I am not even sure where this recipe came from and I know there are many versions of it around.

Ingredients For taco soup

1 lbhamburger
-
1 mdonion diced
-
1 cwater
-
1 pkgtaco seasoning mix

1 cancut up or diced tomatoes

1 cankidney beans, drained and rinsed

1 cancorn, drained---or can use frozen

1 can4 oz diced green chili
How To Make taco soup

1Brown hamburger and onion in a large pot until cooked. Drain fat. Add taco seasoning and stir well. Add water.

2Add the tomatoes with the liquid, kidney beans, corn, and green chili.

3Simmer for 1 hour stirring ever so often. If it gets to thick you can add more water.
