    bacon hickory smoked more if desired
  • 1 lb
    ground beef or ground turkey 70% lean leaner if desired
  • 1 lg
    onion chopped
  • 2 md
    jalepeno peppers minced
  • 1 can
    tomato paste small
  • 1/3 c
    water
  • 4 Tbsp
    chili powder mild or hot more if desired
  • 4 Tbsp
    cayenne pepper more if desired
  • 2 tsp
    salt more or less if desired
  • 2 tsp
    black pepper more or less if desired

    COOK PINTO BEANS ACCORDING TO DIRECTIONS IN A DUTCH OVEN POT

    SAUTE GROUND BEEF IN SKILLET ALONG WITH ONIONS, JALEPENO PEPPERS, CHILI POWDER, CAYENNE PEPPER, SALT, PEPPER. DRAIN AND ADD IN 1 SMALL CAN OF TOMATO PASTE AND WATER. SIMMER AND STIR FOR ANOTHER 15 MINUTES ON LOW.
