I have made this for years we love chili.My family loves this recipe.Sometimes i cook this in my slow cooker it even makes it better.

Ingredients For shirley's chili

  • 2 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 1 lg
    vidalia onion chopped
  • 2 can
    mild chili beans
  • 1
    box of carroll shelby chili seasoning 1/2 of all the packets
  • 1 lg
    can of chopped tomatoes
  • 6 c
    tomatoe juice
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 pkg
    cheese, shredded
  • 2 c
    elbow macaroni, cooked,sometimes i put macaroni in it .

How To Make shirley's chili

    FRY YOUR GROUND BEEF WITH YOUR CHOPPED ONION'S WHEN DONE DRAIN OFF FAT.THEN ADD THE CHILI SEASONING 1/2 OF ALL THE PACKETS,TOMATOES,CHILI BEAN'S,TOMATOE JUICE ,You can add more chile sersoning if you like it hoter.

    COOK ON LOW FOR ABOUT 2 HOUR'S YOU COULD PUT THIS IN YOUR SLOW COOKER ON LOW FOR 4 HOUR'S.SERVE WITH SHREDDED CHEESE ON TOP.
