Ingredients For pittsburgh hunter's chili

1 lbhamburger
-
1 lbitalian sausage, no casings
-
1 lbpolish sausage, slice in circles, then cut cross ways

1 lbbacon, cooked, cut into pieces

2 lggreen peppers, chopped coarsely
-
2 lgred peppers, chopped coarsely

2 lgonions, chopped
-
1 smcan of tomato paste
-
2 lgcans crushed tomatoes
-
1 lgcan diced tomatoes
-
5-6 lgpotatoes, cut into small pieces
-
1 Tbspsmoked black pepper
-
1 Tbspcumin
-
2 pkgcon azafran saffron
-
chili powder to taste
-
2 Tbsphorseradish
-
1 cred merlot wine
-
saltto taste
-
6-8 clovegarlic...minced
How To Make pittsburgh hunter's chili

1In a large frying pan, place hamburger,italian sausage (out of casing), polish sausage & bacon, and fry, drain.Set aside.

2Chop up peppers, onions and potatoes. Set aside.

3In a large crock pot, add your meat mixture, all peppers, add tomato paste, crushed tomatoes and diced tomatoes. Mix well.

4Add all seasonings, horseradish, and potatoes, mix well. Allow to simmer in crock pot. The longer it cooks, the better it is!
